Nail Enhancements

Artificial nails, also known as fake nails, false nails, fashion nails, nail enhancements, acrylic nails, nail wraps, or nail extensions, are extensions placed or sculpted over fingernails as fashion accessories. 

Some artificial nail designs attempt to mimic the appearance of natural fingernails as closely as possible. In contrast, others may deliberately stray in favour of an artistic look.

 CND PLEXIGEL™ is a brush-in-a-bottle gel nail enhancement system that provides up to 3+ weeks of strength, length, and shape.

This clean and simple system requires no mixing or dipping while the custom brush & self levelling formula delivers smooth & precise application. Backed by science, deeply rooted in nail health, CND PlexiGel is formulated to shape, build and protect the nails with no nail damage.

You can leave nails clear or finish with your favorite shellac colour. The options are endless!

Unlike most manicures, artificial nails require regular upkeep; it is recommended that they are attended to, on average, every two to three weeks, However, they may last up to about one month.

Semi-permanent individual lashes are bonded to your natural lashes to achieve a longer, fuller appearance. 

Refills are needed every 2- 3 weeks to keep your eyelash extensions looking their best. 

Lashes which are not filled for more than 4 weeks will require removal + reapplication for the health & safety of your natural lashes.

Professional removal of eyelash extensions is highly recommended over attempting to do it yourself. Lashes are bonded with adhesive and require proper removal to avoid damage to your natural lashes. Alternatively, you can roll around with gnarly looking, overgrown lashes shedding one-by-one in keeping with your natural lash growth cycles.

If your booking a Refill with me & you have lashes from a previous spa, book the refill you want & send me a message indicating it's a foreign Refill. There is an add on charge of $15 as there us usually something I need to work with.

Eyelash Extension Aftercare

To care for your lashes, be sure to follow these general guidelines:

In the first 24 hours after getting your lashes done:

Avoid having hot showers or baths, as the steam can breakdown your lash adhesive

Avoid wearing eye makeup after your appointment
  

Ongoing care tips:

Keep lashes clean and free of dust and debris
 

Avoid oil-based skincare products, cleansers, and makeup removers as they cause the glue to breakdown faster – use only oil-free products

Avoid oil-based eye makeup, particularly eyeliner. When removing eyeliner, use a cotton swab with oil-free makeup remover

Use care when applying eye makeup
 

Avoid applying additional mascara over your lash extensions, as this puts you at risk of losing lashes sooner than normal. Applying mascara will also clump the lashes together

Do not use an eyelash curler
 

Take additional care when washing your eye area; we recommend avoiding rubbing your eyes, and instead, use cotton pads or swabs to gently remove your makeup

Avoid putting your face directly into the shower stream; the water pressure may result in damage to your lashes.
 

Sleep on your side or back if possible and wear an eye mask with eye cavities to avoid pressing your lashes into the pillow

Brush out your lashes with a mascara wand (provided by your lash technician) at least once a day in the morning, especially after getting them wet. Do this carefully without tugging your lashes

Keep lashes away from direct heat such as ovens and blow dryers as they can cause your lash extensions to sizzle on the ends
  

Lash Fills and Removal

If you come in for a fill please note that if more than 40% of the lashes are gone it will be considered a full set

Lash Fill should be done every 2-3 weeks depending on which style of lashes you have and the retention you keep.

The average person loses about 5 lashes per day naturally during a normal lash cycle so do not be alarmed as this is normal

Please come in for removals, do not attempt to remove your lashes at home. It is a quick and painless procedure when done professionally and keep the integrity of your natural lashes.

Eyelash tinting
 

Eyelash tinting consists of adding a special dye to your lashes. 

Gives you weeks of darker fuller looking lashes

Lashes are lifted (curled) semi-permanently with a series of advanced perming solutions, to create a brighter, more opened appearance to the eye area, and darkened with tint. The end result is similar to using an eyelash curler + mascara.

Recommended every 4 - 6 weeks, in keeping with natural lash hair growth.

Brow Lamination is an alternative to semi-permanent make-up, creating a fluffly-upward effect with your natural brows. A series of solvents is applied to the brows to achieve a high-fashion, fluffy type of brow. Whether you desire max-impact, runway-ready brows, or a gentle redirect to help tame the wild ones,  Brow Lamination is sure to give you the lift you’ve been longing for! 

This service includes tinting and brow waxing. 

Recommended every 4 - 6 weeks, in keeping with natural brow hair growth.
