Before waxing, you should exfoliate, let hair grow to about ¼ inch, and wear loose-fitting clothes to your appointment. Avoid caffeine, alcohol, and tanning for at least 24 hours beforehand, and be sure to mention if you are using any skin-thinning medications.
Advil or tylenol is recommended, to monitor pain or inflammation. Take roughly an hour prior to waxing
